How It Works
How It Works
A conventional pillow provides one flat surface for every person and sleeping position. The Somnira Align Pillow uses purposefully shaped support zones to give your head, neck, shoulders and arms their own places to rest.
1. Cradles Your Head
The recessed centre gently holds your head in a stable position, helping reduce excessive movement and repeated pillow adjustment.
2. Supports Your Neck
The raised cervical contour fills the natural space beneath your neck. This helps your head and neck remain comfortably supported instead of tilting too far upward, downward or sideways.
3. Makes Room for Your Shoulders
The butterfly-shaped shoulder cutouts allow your body to sit closer to the pillow, giving your shoulders more room—especially when sleeping on your side.
4. Gives Your Arms Somewhere to Rest
The integrated wings provide natural resting areas for your arms and hands, so you do not have to awkwardly place them underneath your head or bunch them around the pillow.
5. Adapts to Your Shape
The slow-rebound memory foam gradually moulds around your head and neck. This spreads pressure across a larger area while maintaining the pillow’s supportive contour.
The Result
A more stable, supported and comfortable sleeping position—with less pillow stacking, reshaping and readjustment throughout the night.
How To Use
How To Use
Step 1: Choose Your Height
The Align Pillow has a higher and lower neck contour. Rotate the pillow 180 degrees and try both heights to find which one best fills the space beneath your neck without forcing your head upward.
Step 2: Position Your Head
Place your head in the central cradle with the raised edge resting beneath your neck. Your shoulders should remain on the mattress, close to the curved edge of the pillow.
Step 3: Position Your Arms
Rest your arms beside the pillow, over the butterfly-shaped wings or within the shoulder cutouts—whichever feels most natural for your sleeping position.
For Back Sleepers
Rest the back of your head inside the central cradle. Use the lower or higher contour depending on which keeps your neck feeling relaxed and supported.
For Side Sleepers
Place your head on the raised side section and position your shoulder near the curved cutout. Your head should feel supported without tilting noticeably toward the mattress or ceiling.
For Front Sleepers
Use the lower contour and position your arms around or over the wings. Make sure your neck feels comfortable and is not being pushed too far backward.
Allow Time to Adjust
A contoured pillow can feel different from a conventional pillow. Try both heights and allow several nights for your body to become familiar with the new shape.

What makes the Somnira Align Pillow different from a regular pillow?
What makes the Somnira Align Pillow different from a regular pillow?
A conventional pillow generally provides one flat or loosely filled surface. The Align Pillow has separate contoured areas for the head, neck, shoulders and arms, providing more structured and consistent support.
Which sleeping positions is it designed for?
Which sleeping positions is it designed for?
The pillow is designed to accommodate back, side and front sleeping. However, comfort is personal, and the best position and contour height will depend on your body, mattress and sleeping habits.
How do I choose between the heights?
How do I choose between the heights?
Rotate the pillow 180 degrees to try the higher and lower neck contours. Choose the side that comfortably fills the space beneath your neck without noticeably pushing your head upward or allowing it to drop.
Which height is best for side sleepers?
Which height is best for side sleepers?
Side sleepers often prefer the higher contour because more space must be filled between the neck and mattress. However, people with narrower shoulders or softer mattresses may find the lower contour more comfortable.
Which height is best for back sleepers?
Which height is best for back sleepers?
Many back sleepers prefer the lower contour because less height is normally required. You should still try both options and choose the one that allows your neck to feel relaxed.
How should my shoulders sit on the pillow?
How should my shoulders sit on the pillow?
Your shoulders should generally remain on the mattress, close to the curved edge of the pillow. The shoulder cutouts create additional space and allow your upper body to rest closer to the pillow.
What is the pillow made from?

The Align Pillow has a slow-rebound memory-foam core that gradually conforms around the head and neck while retaining its contoured shape.
Is the pillow firm or soft?
Is the pillow firm or soft?
The pillow is designed to provide a balance of cushioning and structured support. Because firmness is subjective, it may feel firmer than a traditional loose-fill pillow during the initial adjustment period.
Will it take time to get used to?
Will it take time to get used to?
It can. A contoured pillow positions the head and neck differently from a conventional pillow, so we recommend trying both heights and allowing several nights to adjust.
Can I wash the pillow?
Can I wash the pillow?
The removable outer cover can be unzipped and machine washed on a gentle, cold cycle. Air dry or tumble dry on low according to the care label. Do not machine wash the memory-foam core; spot clean it gently and allow it to dry completely.
Does the pillow stay cool all night?

The breathable cover is designed to improve surface comfort and airflow. However, it is not an active cooling system, and the perceived temperature will depend on the room, bedding and individual sleeper.
Will it eliminate neck or shoulder pain?

The Align Pillow is designed to provide comfortable, contoured support and encourage more neutral positioning. Results vary, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure a medical condition. Persistent or severe pain should be assessed by a qualified healthcare professional.

No pillow can be guaranteed to stop snoring, and the Align Pillow is not a treatment for sleep apnea. Anyone experiencing choking, gasping, breathing pauses or significant daytime sleepiness should seek medical advice.
